When we emerged from the restaurant the air was full of white fluffy seeds - I hope you can see them I the first photo. Irena our guide explained that they were from poplar trees. The hot weather has brought just the right conditions for the release of these seeds, which were up to 4 inches deep in some places. They cause all kinds of breathing problems for the locals and I can see why since they were blowing around in really dense clouds.
